VMware View

VMware View: Install, Configure, Manage (3 days) - VMVIEW4

This course covers all the main technologies in VMware's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) broker and management software, View Manager, View Composer, and ThinApp. It is highly recommended that you have a good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, and knowledge of VI3 or vSphere 4 to VCP level is a pre-requisite. This course is based on the latest version, VMware View 4.

VMware View: Design (1 day) - VMVD

Following on directly from the skills gained in the View: Install, Configure, Manage course, this focuses on the key design areas to achieve the best View deployment possible.

VMware Site Recovery Manager (2 days) - VMSRM

This course is for those responsible for deploying SRM, as well as those who are involved in disaster recovery policies and processes. All aspects of implementing SRM are covered, from installing the software right through to DR testing and full site failovers.

The above official course is based on SRM 1 running on VI3, VMware will not be releasing an official course on SRM 4 running with vSphere 4, however Global Knowledge UK can run SRM courses on either version - contact me for more information.
